Before You Stick: Read This!
✌️ 1. Wipe Your Walls
Skipping this step? Your decals might not stick! Use a clean, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Let the surface dry completely before applying your decals (minimum 2 hours to be safe).
✌️ 2. Check Your Walls
Decals won’t stick to:
- Unprimed, flaking, or textured walls
- Low VOC or Wash & Wear paints
✌️ 3. Start with Piece 1
Find the marker that says: "START HERE against left wall." Peel off piece 1 of the road, align it to your left wall, and press it firmly onto the wall, smoothing outwards to remove any air bubbles. Reposition if needed. This piece sets the highest point of the road, so make sure you’re happy with the placement before continuing. Keep the road ends straight!
✌️ 4. Piece 2
Peel off piece 2 and align the “a side” to the road you just applied. Press it firmly onto the wall, smoothing outwards to push out any bubbles. Adjust if needed.
✌️ 5. Piece 3
Peel off piece 3 and align the “b side” to the road on your wall. Press and smooth just like before.
✌️ 6. Piece 4
Peel off piece 4 and align the “c side” to the road on your wall. Smooth it on, then trim any excess with sharp scissors. If your wall is longer and you’ve got a road extension, add it here and trim as needed.
✌️ 7. Add the Vehicles, Rainbows and Trees (Consult Visual Guide)
Once the road’s down, be creative or consult the visual guide to place the rest of the elements. Use the same peel, align, and smooth technique.
✌️ 9. Save the Backing Sheet
Keep it handy! It makes moving or storing your decals a breeze.
✌️ 10. Enjoy Your Space!
Step back and admire the open road, effortlessly bringing style to your space!
