Our decals are designed to be removed cleanly from properly prepared, well-primed walls...no sticky residue, no drama.

We're renters ourselves, so we have tested these on more walls than we can count! When walls are prepped correctly, removal is clean and straightforward.

Each order includes a QR code linking to our full installation guide, which walks you through exactly how to prep your surface before you start. That five-minute step makes all the difference.

All of our decals are made to order. Our production window is 3-5 business days.

Please note, Express shipping speeds up freight time not the production window.

Each decal is made especially for you, cut and printed once we receive your order, so we've got a short window to make changes before that happens. You have 6 hours from order confirmation to change or cancel. Once that window has passed, your order has moved into production and changes are no longer possible.

To make a change within the 6 hour window, email admin@coolkidsstickerco.com with your order number as soon as possible.

Not yet. Paint needs to fully cure before a decal goes on, and that takes at least 45 days. Fresh paint is still releasing moisture, which stops the adhesive gripping and can lead to the decal lifting. Worth the wait.

Yes, you can. The decals are easy to move around. Just remember to keep your backing sheet so you can transport them easily.

Sadly not, there is not enough flat surface for them to grip.

With tens of thousands of happy families, this is something we very rarely see, and when we do it almost always traces back to the wall surface. Because each design is printed in large production runs, a genuine manufacturing fault would show up across many orders at once, not as an isolated case. To date, we've never had a material or print fault behind this issue, it always comes back to the wall. Here are the five usual causes:

1) Your walls were not cleaned properly prior to installation. The dust and oil has repelled the adhesive on the decals

2) Your walls were not primed or are flaking (not a great paint job).

3) Your walls are textured and there is not enough surface area to grip.

4) Your walls were painted with Wash & Wear or Low VOC paint which is repelling the decal adhesive.

5) Your walls were recently painted (within 45 days) and the paint has not cured.

If you're using Wash & Wear or low VOC paint, or you're unsure about any of the above, a bonding primer can help improve adhesion on tricky surfaces.

For our wall decals, we recommend gently dusting or wiping them with a soft, dry cloth only. Please avoid using water, cleaning sprays, wipes, or harsh products on wall decals, as this may affect the print, edges, or adhesive.
For small marks, you can very gently dab the area with a damp microfibre cloth. Avoid scrubbing, soaking, or rubbing firmly.

Our furniture decals are designed to be more wipeable. You can clean them with a soft, slightly damp cloth when needed. Please avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cloths, magic erasers, or excessive water.

Always wipe gently and allow the surface to air dry naturally.

As every order is made to order, we’re unable to offer a refund or exchange for change of mind, colour preference, or a different design or size once production has started. You’ve got 6 hours from order confirmation to make a change. For damage or a fault, see the full detail in our Refund & Replacement Policy.

Your order is printed and shipped from the fulfilment location closest to your delivery address, so there are no import duties or customs delays. For rates and transit times by region, see our Shipping Policy.

So sorry to hear that. Please check your order for damage before installing it. If anything looks off, send us a photo of the damage and your order number within 7 days of delivery at admin@coolkidsstickerco.com and we'll sort a replacement of the affected piece. You won't need to post anything back to us. Once a decal has been applied we're unable to accept a damage claim, as we can no longer verify what happened before installation.

Absolutely! Dust, oil, or dirt can weaken the adhesive and cause your stickers to fall. Even if your walls look clean, we strongly recommend giving them a quick wipe-down to ensure a flawless stick. Don't forget to wait 24 hours for your wall to dry after cleaning. Better safe than sorry!

Yes, and it’s very common. Screens, device settings, lighting and even the time of day all change how a colour reads, and photos tend to look darker and more saturated than real life. If you’d like to check a shade before ordering, our colour sample sheet is the most reliable way to see it in your own space.
