Before You Stick: Read This!

✌️  1. Wipe Your Walls
Skipping this step? Your decals might not stick! Use a clean, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Let the surface dry completely before applying your decals (minimum 2 hours to be safe).

✌️ 2. Check Your Walls

Decals won’t stick to:
- Unprimed, flaking, or textured walls
- Low VOC or Wash & Wear paints

✌️ 3. Start with the First Labelled Piece

Refer to the visual guide to identify the first piece to apply (e.g., Apply 1 EDGE or 3 EDGE first). Completely remove this piece from the large backing sheet.

✌️ 4. Position and Secure a Small Section to the Wall First

Take the first piece and carefully align it to the wall, starting with the edge closest to the indicated starting point. Stick down just a small portion of this edge firmly against the wall—this helps secure the alignment without attaching the entire piece at once. Once the edge is secure, use your hand to gradually smooth the decal outward from the starting edge, pressing firmly to stick the rest of the decal to the wall bit by bit. Avoid sticking the entire piece down all at once, as this can cause wrinkles or bubbles."

✌️ 5. Smooth the Decal

Continue smoothing with your hands or a soft tool, working outward from the initial stuck edge to ensure a bubble-free application. If you need to reposition the decal, gently peel it away from the wall. Be careful not to stretch the material, as stretching will make it difficult to align all the pieces correctly.

✌️ 6. Continue with the Next Pieces
Follow the same process for subsequent pieces (e.g., 1a to 2a or 2b to 3b), ensuring alignment and smooth application as you go.

✌️ 7. Reposition if Necessary

If alignment isn't perfect, gently lift the decal and adjust as needed. Avoid pulling too hard or stretching the decal during repositioning. Smooth it down again to secure.

✌️ 8. Final Touches
Once all pieces are applied, step back and admire your beautifully transformed wall.
